Review
I love the author’s writing style because her narrative creates a certain mood that makes me enjoy reading. Many books take time to pick up, but I am instantly pulled in by the historical setting, the characters, and the storyline of the author’s books. What I love the most about this book is its realistic plot – that there is no exaggeration whatsoever to make it interesting, and this is what makes the story real.
I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. It’s a simple but very interesting and heartwarming story that doesn’t need grandiose twists to rack anyone’s brains. I recommend this book to readers who love a realistic historical romance that is painful on some parts, but very satisfactory in the end.
