Review
To children ages 6 to 9 years old who have just started joining the cheering squad, it would be a joy for them to read something like this. As a mom of three kids, I have read lots of children's books and I have never come across anything that talks about cheerleading. However, while this book is specifically about cheerleading, the learnings a child can get from reading this can also be applied to other goals and dreams.
Overall, I'm giving this book 5 out of 5 stars for the values, developmental skills, and the fun it is bound to bring to children. It teaches the value of friendship, teamwork, hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Also, to gauge the reader's comprehension of the story, there are questions at the end of the book, and a page for their personal thoughts. There's also a space for drawing and coloring which makes this book a good tool in improving a child's creativity.
