Review
Black Rain and Paper Cranes is a historical fiction by R.S. Craig. The author incorporated factual events and legendary individuals into a fictional story based from the atomic warfare during the 1940s. It’s such a great book to relive important events in world history, and can serve as an educational tool for the young ones. I’m very impressed at how well-researched and well-written this book is. Who wouldn’t want to read about a bird that talks and just happens to be friends with Einstein and Charles Lindbergh?
I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. It’s a fusion of facts and fiction, and a tribute to the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki who died from the atomic bombs and effects of the radiation. I highly recommend this historical fiction book for ages 12 and above.
