Summary

Breaking Bipolar is a self-help book by Troy Steven. It provides instructions on how to create a bipolar battle plan to cope with emotions, control negative thinking, minimize physical symptoms, deal with medication issues, manage problems in everyday life, and reduce or eliminate bipolar episodes.

Review

From first-hand experiences to interviews from other bipolar patients, the author openhandedly provided detailed information about optimizing your medication, choosing the right psychiatrist, training your mind and body, recovering from episodes, knowing about psychiatric hospitals, and knowing your legal rights in the society considering your mental illness. I have never been well-educated of what a bipolar disorder is like, until I read this book.

I’m giving this book 5 out 5 stars. I was amazed by the pristine creation of this comprehensive guide for people with bipolar disorder. This book is highly recommended, not only to bipolar patients, but also to readers who want to be well-informed.
