Favorite Dead Girl is a mystery thriller based on a true story by Jerry Kuznik. It’s about Pam, a girl who likes barbies and dresses; she is daddy and mommy’s favorite girl. However, when a car accident at Carbon Canyon leaves her in a vegetable state at the hospital, she relives memories of the dark world she had been living in. When she wakes up, she realizes that it is easier to die than to live.
Review
I can’t believe what I just read. It was a haunting experience and reading this twisted story of Pam sent mixed emotions. She believes in God, but then she does terrible things that a Christian should not do. I’ve never felt so weird and conflicted, but at the same time, impressed by the author’s ability to draw different emotions. He wrote a very dark, but engaging and well-written narrative and used both 1st person and 3rd person points of view. Not many writers can pull that off.
I’m giving this book 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a biographical thriller about child abuse, life after death, family issues, and Christian faith. I recommend it to mature readers who don’t have a faint heart. This book involves very sensitive topics.
