Book Review: Griffin's Perch

Summary

Griffin’s Perch is an epic fantasy by Ian Conner. It follows the story of Denrael, and the Silver Order whom he once led by watching over the forests and inhabitants along with other wizards. Daniel, a wizard fueled by greed and jealousy has disrupted peace and order by transforming the members of the Silver Order into dragons and creating havoc in the forests. To fight the evil, Denrael must retrieve the Silver Scroll and Gold Cluster and convince mythical creatures to put aside their differences, and come together to restore peace and order.

Review

This sure was epic! It made me visualize it as if I’m watching a movie! This is not the first book I have read by Ian Conner, so I knew even before reading it that this would have a complex plot and a wide array of fascinating characters, and it did not disappoint. It is not a tale for all ages though, so I would only recommend this to mature readers (18 and above). It’s a long and rough journey where every kind of creature has a story, and every creature must come together despite their past conflicts and differences.

Overall, I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars for its entertainment value, multidimensional storyline, great world building, and fascinating characters. This book will surely transport readers to the unimaginable world of many, many good and evil creatures.
