Review
There’s a lot of really good messages in this book that are coming from the author’s personal reflection. Most of the poems are direct and conversational, some are very deep and philosophical, but they all exhibit strong emotions.
I wasn’t able to relate with most of the poems because the author’s life experiences seemed much more intense and complicated than my own, but the poem or creative work that I loved the most was Message, particularly the part that says, “Appreciate life, a body will be buried today” and “Cherish your laughs, sometimes you’ll have to cry.” Considering the current pandemic situation, these lines are very timely. Hence, the most impactful amongst the author’s words in the entire book. Other creative works that I liked were So Gone, Off Key, Is There Not a Cause, and No Room for Error. Overall, I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars, and I recommend it to readers who want a variety of reflective creative writing.
