Review
I like the width of topics that it tackles and yet, mainly revolving around love and loving; how different types of love can be shown in different ways. The poetic elements work together harmoniously to instill emotions, convey its message, and embody its meaning. The poems are all in a form of narrative, some parts are straightforward, so you don’t need to read between the lines to get a gasp of what it means. Then, there are parts with good symbolism and allegory to let the reader’s imagination run its course. They are all in free form, so it’s more like reading short stories with poetic elements. Overall, I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. The poems in this collection served their purpose of evoking emotions and allowing some time for self-reflection.
