Summary
Meadow is a YA fiction novel by Lance Oren. The story begins when Prince Charles travels around Hampton, a village surrounding the castle. Hiding his true identity as the prince, he takes consensus of all the subjects in the land, hear their concerns and complaints, so he can relay them to the king. His journey leads him to an adventure as he comes across fascinating people: a mysterious girl who hides her face under a veil, an old knight who slays dragons, a Chinaman, and a girl trying to win his heart.

I enjoyed reading this fairy tale kind of story with a twist! It’s a book that anyone can finish in one sitting; a good read to past the time. I haven’t read a story like this for a very long time, so it brings a classic feel that is almost nostalgic. Overall, I’m giving this book 4 out of 5 stars. It was heart-fluttering, heartwarming, and the ending was satisfactory. I recommend this to readers who are into fairy tales and mystery adventure. The author did a good job in writing a different spin that will surprise the readers.
