Summary

Polka-Dot Bath is a biographical documentary by Marklyn Beck, recipient of the “Best Nursing Care of the Year,” and the “Consistent Excellence in Clinical Practice” awards. In this book, the author revealed the realities of long-term care, the current realities of our elderly, and the future realities for us.

Review

I was mesmerized by the author’s complete dedication in providing genuine care for our elderly. She remembered each and every one of them. That alone, was so remarkable. I feel so sad and scared though, by the fact that aged people are deprived of things that are very crucial to their health and well-being. I hope that this book goes to many, many good-hearted readers who can unite to change things for their loved ones and for themselves.

I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. It’s an eye-opening collection of true stories about our elderlies, and a very thorough testimony of the many things that are lacking in the facilities of Nursing Homes. I highly recommend this to ALL readers ages 17 and above. This book is a MUST-READ.
