The Leadership Process is a self-help book about business leadership by Paul B. Thornton. In this book, the author shared a lot of aspects of what leaders do, and what makes some effective and others ineffective. As a result of his 40-year experience and research which includes reading books and articles, interviewing leaders, this book contains the four steps to follow and achieve a leader's vision.
Review
Before I decided to change my career and work in a stress-free environment where I am my own boss and my time is flexible, I’ve had 11 years of experience in the BPO industry both as a follower and a leader. Just like in my world today, and in my past career, the only constant thing is, CHANGE. And that’s the topic that I can highly agree with because it is one of the hardest things to do, and yet, it’s inevitable. As businesses evolve along with technology, there will always be changes. The author did great in explaining how to embrace changes by going out of our comfort zone, as opposed to being stuck with the same approach, not knowing what better results can be achieved by new initiatives. Overall, I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. It can be read in one sitting and I highly recommended it to new and future business leaders.
