Review

The Long Game is a political action thriller by Ian Conner. I’ve had a rollercoaster ride experience with this meticulously written whodunit thriller, which involves bombing, radioactivity, corrupt US leadership, Chinese powerplay, and how the strong characters of this book made this story so suspenseful, mysterious, and intriguing. I like how the story ended, most especially with what happened to Audra, and the joyous event between Amy and Lilly after that.

I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars. It’s an explosive story, both figuratively, and literally! I like that it was written in a holistic approach, where it shows different aspects of the story. I also like its androgyny, in the sense that the characters are diverse, and the tone of writing has a touch of both male and female that it can be enjoyed by both genders, and most especially the LGBT community. This book is recommended to all mature readers who love political thriller.
