Book Review: Totally Devoted

Summary

Totally Devoted is a contemporary romance by E.M. Bannock. After spending years of solitude following her husband and son’s death, Marie Trousdale decides to move from Oregon to the property in Selma, which she inherited from her husband Charles when he died. There, she meets Wil Townsend who happens to be the exact opposite of her husband. Wil is rough in all places that Charles wasn’t, both in looks and actions. Charles was kind, sweet, and patient, while Wil is rough, sometimes rude, and certainly on a short fuse. But then despite all that, Wil awakens something inside of Marie that she has forgotten about.

Review

Loved this book! I loved the horse ride adventure, the tension between Wil and Marie, Marie’s alter ego, the amusing John Wayne references where Wil even named his son, Duke. It's also nice how the story didn't just revolve around Marie, but also her family, particularly her sister Shelley who died of cancer, and her very annoying husband who got what he deserved in the end.

I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars! Wil and Marie’s romance made my heart flutter, and Sheila Erotica as Marie’s alter ego made this book even more exciting! I highly recommend it to mature readers who want to experience an erotic romance story that you couldn’t put down.
