Review
Zoey’s Place is an erotic romance novel by E.M. Bannock. This book was truly a different reading experience. At one point, I get Zoey’s objective, but on the other hand, it’s still completely wrong. This book made me question human values. In real life, I'd be repulsed at Zoey's decision to open such kind of business, most especially that she used to be a lawyer. But since this is fiction, I'd say it was intriguing and original.
I’m giving this book 4 out of 5 stars. It was imaginative, and I like the author’s writing style. She only elaborates on the relevant things and doesn’t go overboard with words, making the flow of the narrative smooth. I recommend this book to mature readers who want an erotic story about grief and desire.
